I sat down with host Elizabeth Vargas to talk about the book a few weeks ago in New York, and I was very impressed. She and her team have done a great deal of work to track down some of the characters in the book and survivors of other major catastrophes.

Sperling will publish The Unthinkable in Italy in March 2009.
Just found out that The Unthinkable will hit Germany in Spring 2009.
Good news! The Unthinkable comes out in paperback on June 16, 2009. Still working on the new cover, but it should be out just in time for Father’s Day.
Just got word that the book will be published in Poland, as well! Coming in September 2009.
